Got time for a cup of Joe? Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council hopes so. In keeping with their initiative to educate the public on current issues effecting today’s farmers – MN Soybean wanted a website devoted to ‘Getting the Word Out’ – called “The Ag Cafe”. To broaden it’s appeal, MN Soybean asked to display industry news from a variety of online sources.
To achieve this goal, Ecra configured feeds to display recent activity on the home page – pulling content from various industry social media and news sources along with blog posts from MN Soybean’s own site and social channels.
Feed types are identified by color and iconography and users may click on feed items to view the full post in a lightbox setting. The site also features it’s own blog area with categories focused on important conversation topics to MN Soybean farmers.
